The Havel is quite busy here, so we recommend you to paddle out of town to the left. Follow the Tiefen See depending on the wind on the side of the Berlin suburb and marvel at the beautiful villas or drive on the opposite side along the Babelsberg Park. At the end of the Tiefen See you have a wonderful view of the Potsdam city center, the Glienicker Brücke and Schloss Babelsberg.

Via Schloss Babelsberg through the Glienicke Brücke to Schloss Cecilienhof. This is sight seeing par excellence. Depending on the wind direction, start to the left and stay in the wind-protected area. After 1.5 km you reach the Glienicker Brücke. Shortly before you reach the bridge you have a fascinating view of the Potsdam city center, Schloss Babelsberg and the Glienicker Brücke, probably the most versatile view of Potsdam.

Keep left and pass the beautiful Holzblockhaus – Matrosenstation Kongsnaes. Along the Neue Garten you will see Schloss Cecilienhof in the next bay. If you look to the right, you have a great view of Schloss Pfaueninsel and the Sacrow Heilandskirche.
