Water tower – Gottlieben (Switzerland)
Start at the water tower by the three large poplars. Paddle west (to the right), downstream on the beautiful Seerhein along the Naturschutzgebiet Wollmatinger Ried. After about 1.5 km you will pass the beautiful Swiss village of Gottlieben (refreshments available). A little further and you will find yourself at the turning point of your tour. Great view of the Untersee with the island of Reichenau and the Vulkanlandschaft Hegau in the background. Back you go upstream. Note that you will paddle longer ;-). Back at the water tower, you can strengthen yourself in the small restaurant esszimmer. Or enjoy a cold beer on the terrace by the water. Thank you for your booking and see you next time.
Water Tower – Inselkanal/Stadtgarten – Seeburg Park (Switzerland)
Entry at the water tower by the three large poplars. Paddle east (to the left), upstream. This means for you: now it will be exhausting 😉 but the way back is quite relaxed. On the beautiful Seerhein you pass under three bridges. After 2 km (directly after the third bridge) you can turn right into the Inselkanal and paddle towards the Stadtgarten. The current will carry you around the island back into the Seerhein. Or you can make a detour past the harbor of Constance (watch out for scheduled boats) to the Swiss Seeburgpark. On the shore you will find landing places and refreshment stations everywhere. Back at the water tower, you can strengthen yourself in the small restaurant esszimmer. Or enjoy a cold beer on the terrace by the water. Thank you for your booking and see you next time.
Chill and swim in front of the water tower
Enter at the water tower by the three large poplars. Just paddle out onto the water. Lay down on your board. Jump into the water. Let yourself drift. Watch out for course boats. 😉
