The rental machine is clearly visible and easily accessible, so you can rent your stand up paddle board with ease. The Baggersee in Ingolstadt offers you an ideal place to enjoy stand up paddling. The clear water and picturesque surroundings create a relaxed and natural atmosphere. As soon as you have hired your board, you can step directly from the shore onto the calm waters of the quarry pond and start your paddle tour. The quarry pond is a popular place for water sports activities and offers you a variety of options for your stand-up paddle tour. Paddle along the shore and explore the diverse shoreline landscape. Enjoy the tranquillity and nature as you glide over the glistening water

Paddling tip 1: Duration: 1.5 hours Distance: 2km

Start your tour at our vending machine near the Seehaus parking lot. Just a few meters away you will find a nice entry point into the Ingolstadt quarry pond. Now start to the left, heading south along the shore. You should now paddle past the jetty and the Donauwurm water playground. Continue paddling in a south-easterly direction until you reach the eastern end of the quarry pond after 1 km. At this end, there are some nice bays where you can take a break. After your swim and break, head back towards the starting point. You will have paddled approx. 2 km back and crossed half of the quarry pond.

Paddling tip 2: Duration: 3 hours Distance: 5 km

Start your tour at the jetty near the Seehaus Ingolstadt in a south-westerly direction. You now paddle along the local recreation area to a rejuvenated part of the quarry pond. Now head north until you reach the northern end of the quarry pond at the Wildpark am Baggersee. You have now covered approx. 2km. Now it’s time for a dip in the water and a short break. Then head back to the narrow part of the lake until you see the local recreation area on your left. Instead of heading back, paddle straight on to the eastern end of the lake. Once here, you have completed 4 km of paddling. Now you still have 1km to go – back to the starting point at Seehaus.
