The location is ideal for reaching by public transport or bike via the waterfront path. You’ll quickly be enchanted by the perfect mix of urbanity, green spaces, and life on the water. In just a few minutes, you’ll have a breathtaking view of the Berlin TV Tower. Especially at sunset, the view along the Spree River is incredibly beautiful. The Oberbaum Bridge is the best spot to relax and enjoy the amazing view of Alexanderplatz.

Paddling Tip 1: Duration: 1.5 hours Distance: 3.5 km

Passing by the well-known houseboats, you’ll paddle around the Rummelsburger Bucht on the Spree. You’ll be intrigued by the various construction projects on the water and return with great experiences. Depending on how far you extend your round, you’ll also have time for some relaxation and peace.

Paddling Tip 2: Duration: 2 – 3 hours Distance: 8 km

Embark on a longer journey between the islands of Kratzbruch and Liebesinsel on the Spree. Be cautious as you cross the Spree to the other bank towards the sailing ship restaurant Klipper. From there, continue through the Abteibrücke, connecting the Insel der Jugend with the Treptower Park. Paddle downstream along the Spree, staying close to the shore and watching out for other watercraft. Remember, you may need a bit more time on the way back against the current. Proceed through the Eisenbrücke to the Molecule Man. You’ll exclaim WOW and likely have the best view of the TV Tower and the Oberbaumbrücke from there.
